This film, overflowing with slapstick, bathroom humor, and really dumb jokes represents the lowest form of vulgar comedy and yet, manages to be funny as it follows the ridiculous exploits of two really stupid guys travelling across the country in search of one special girl. Harry Dunne is a dog groomer who drives around in a floppy eared, fur covered van that bears striking resemblance to Benji on wheels. His best friend Lloyd Christmas drives a limo. Lloyd is trying to save money to open a worm warehouse. When Lloyd picks up the beautiful, wealthy Mary Swanson to take her to the airport, he falls instantly in love. Just as he bids adieu to his new, and bewildered love, he notice that she's left her briefcase in an empty corridor. He doesn't know it was intentional and that the satchel is filled with ransom money for her kidnapped husband. All he knows is that it is hers and he must return it. He and Harry decide to follow her to Aspen in the Benjimobile. They are unaware that two thugs are pursuing them. Somehow the dopes make it to Aspen and then the real fun begins as Lloyd's love seems to fall for Harry.
